Delete your Asem Legal account
You can ask us to delete your Asem Legal user account and its personal data at any time, from any device. You don’t need to keep the app installed.
How to request deletion
- Email info@mail.asemlegal.com from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- Say which firm your account belongs to.
- We will confirm the request with you and with your firm’s administrator, then delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Firm administrators can also remove a user directly in the app. Firms that want to close their whole workspace should email us from an administrator’s address.
What gets deleted
- your profile (name, email, photo, role and preferences) and sign-in credentials;
- your push-notification tokens, connected Google or Microsoft calendar and email tokens, and sessions;
- personal settings, drafts and notifications that belong only to you.
What may be kept
Matters, documents, time entries and other records you created belong to your law firm, which is the data controller. They stay with the firm under its own retention duties. Audit-log entries, AML records and records under legal hold are kept for as long as the law requires. Backups roll off within 35 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
