Entity recognition: Asem now reads your documents for you

The first thing a lawyer does with a new document is read it for who, when and what. Asem now does that first read for you.

Built for Ghanaian documents

Purpose-built rules recognise Ghana Card numbers, GRA TINs, +233 phone numbers, company numbers, GhanaPost GPS addresses, suit numbers in the Judicial Service format, statutes and instruments with their provisions, and case citations, pinned to their exact place in the text. An AI model adds meaning on top: which party is the buyer, which date is completion. It reads scanned PDFs and photographed pages too.

Straight into the matter

  • Accept a party and it’s added to the matter, and the conflict screen runs again
  • Accept a date and it becomes a court-diary entry or an advisory deadline
  • Every matter gets an Entities tab, and search finds a Ghana Card or suit number across every matter you can access
  • Nothing changes until someone on the matter accepts it

Entity recognition is live today on desktop and mobile for staff with access to the matter. See the Entity Recognition page.
