Draw, type or upload: signatures that stand up

A signature should look like the person who made it, and be provable later.

Three ways to sign

Signers can draw their signature, type it in a script font, or upload a photo of their wet signature. Uploaded photos are cleaned up in the signer’s own browser, so the original image never leaves their device.

The signature image is stored with the envelope, and its SHA-256 fingerprint is written into the hash-chained audit trail. The executed copy carries the signatures and the audit record, and staff see exactly who signed, when and how.

Sign in the app, hear from your firm

Clients can now sign inside the Asem mobile app as well as from a secure link. Signing emails carry the firm’s logo, colour and name in every subject line. They come from your firm, not from us.

Documents excluded from e-signature by the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772) still go to the tracked wet-ink workflow. See E-signature.
